AJB Manamkulambu School
The school is a lower primary school having classes from Nursery to the Fourth Standard. Established in 1950 by a local Farmer it has a student strength of 167 comprising of 90 boys and 77 girls. The school is privately managed aided by the State meaning there is no tuition fee collected from the students, the text books and Teachers salaries are also paid by the State. Lunch is served to all children daily by a State funded Project The children are to bring note books and pencils. Uniforms are sponsored. The upkeep of the school has been sponsored by Kandath Tharavad through funds donated by visiting Guests. Malayalam has been the medium of education till last year when English has also been introduced from the Nursery Class.
